Los Alcazares

Los Alcazares sits on the western shore of the Mar Menor, which is the largest inland Sea in Europe. On the eastern side of the Mar Menor is the La Manga strip which is 22 km's in length. A so called strip, because at it's narrowest point, it is just a few hundred yards wide, with the Mediteranean Sea, on its western side. Los Alcazares enjoys an upmarket stature with numerous bars, cafes and restaurants providing drinks, tapas, meals and entertainment. The pavement cafe's giving a truly cosmopolitan feel to the town. The warm water's of the Mar Menor gently spalsh against the silver sands, and has helped make the town a paradise for bathers and watersports enthusiasts.

World class golf courses have sprung up around Los Acazares, with Polaris Worlds' resorts being the most famous. There is also Roda Golf resort and along with others they offer a range of golfing experiences, for the amater, aswell as the professional.

A range of property is available to buy in Los Alcazares, from front line apartments to villas, and golf course accomodation. Being a beach side town, the purchase costs can reflect the idylic location, but more reasonable prices can be attained from the resale market.
